Dejarik Travel Set - Portable Holochess Game

I tend to find myself in situations where I have a spot of free time, and want to keep my mind sharp. Then again, I tend to find myself in situations where lugging around an entire Holotable is just not feasible. There is also the fact that for some strange reason, the strategic game of Dejarik is not more widespread in the galaxy- at least as far as I've seen. This may be due to the cost of obtaining and installing a Holotable is a hefty bit of credits, but either way, I aim to see the game gain more familiarity throughout more than just the pockets of players I've happened upon in the Outer Rim. 

There is some suspicion I have garnered surrounding the design of the game and a possible relation to the Empire, namely the Emperor himself. With similarities in their emblem to the game board, and even the Emperor's throne room windows of his fallen Death Star II, it's hard not to make such a connection. He didn't invent the ancient game, but he must have been an avid player. It is a lesser known fact that he was actually an adept player of Shah-tezh, which Dejarik is a later variant of. With this supposition, I play each game as if the fate of the galaxy rests on each move- a true strategic fight of good versus evil.

In wanting to see a greater more accessible reach for this age old game of strategy, I have designed and am happy to bring you the Dejarik Travel Set! I've designed something compact enough to keep on your person or in your kit, but robust enough to be able to play a high stakes game wherever your adventures might take you. So, game on!... and always let the Wookie win.
